On August 6, 2023, from 1 to 5 pm, the Hayward Odd Fellows and the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District (H.A.R.D.) have teamed up to present concerts in the park, all for a fantastic cause. Concert in the Park, held at Memorial Park by the Hayward Plunge, will not only fill the air with captivating tunes but also benefit the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District Foundation. So, get your picnic blankets ready and join us for an event you won’t want to miss!
We have a stellar lineup of musical acts that promise to elevate your spirits and leave you wanting more:
- The Collective, a high energy British Invasion band featuring your favorites songs from the Beatles, INXS, Tears for Fears, Bowie and the Rolling Stones!
- Gravity +4, an exceptional acapella group known for their breathtaking vocal harmonies. From classic ballads to contemporary chart-toppers, their performances are bound to leave you spellbound and mesmerized.
- Karen Soo Hoo, an incredible singer-songwriter with a voice that touches hearts. Her emotionally charged lyrics and powerful vocals will undoubtedly leave an indelible impression on all who attend.
This event is about coming together as a community and supporting a cause close to our hearts. The Hayward Area Recreation & Park District Foundation plays a vital role in making our parks and recreation programs accessible to all residents.
