Get your costumes ready! H.A.R.D.’s Trunk or Treat returns to Kennedy Park on Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for an afternoon of Halloween fun for the whole family. The event will take place at Kennedy Park, 19501 Hesperian Blvd. in Hayward.  

Families can collect treats from creatively decorated trunks hosted by community partners while enjoying music, games, performances, crafts, scavenger hunts, and festive photo opportunities. The celebration will also feature an Unhaunted House & Carnival presented by Sulphur Creek Nature Center, with an underwater “Gills & Thrills” adventure, as well as a Halloween Make-a-Thon hosted by the H.A.R.D. Arts Team, featuring hands-on seasonal art activities.  

And be sure to look for the H.A.R.D. Foundation! We’ll be joining the festivities with our own decorated trunk, treats, and plenty of Halloween spirit. Stop by, say hello, and learn a little more about how the Foundation supports parks, recreation, and programs throughout our community. 

Trunk or Treat has become a major community celebration, with previous years drawing as many as 5,000 attendees.  

Admission is free, so bring the family, wear your favorite costume, and come celebrate Halloween with H.A.R.D. and the H.A.R.D. Foundation!
